Stop fluid from overheating: When your transmission shifts gears or sends power to the wheels, the fluid gets hot from friction. The radiator cools it back down to a safe range (80–100°C), so the fluid stays thick enough to lubricate and work right.
Make your transmission last longer: Cool, clean fluid doesn’t wear down gears, clutches, or seals as much. If the fluid overheats, it turns into sludge—clogging lines and breaking expensive transmission parts. This radiator stops that from happening.

Fits These: All Dongfeng H30 models with automatic transmission (matches fluid flow, mounting spots, and port size—check VIN to be sure).
Doesn’t Fit These:
Dongfeng H30s with manual transmission: Manual transmissions don’t need this radiator—they use different ways to stay cool.
Other Dongfeng models: Like the S30, AX3, or Yixuan—their transmissions are different sizes, the fluid flows differently, or the mounting spots are wrong (it won’t work or fit).
Cars from other brands: Even if it looks similar, the transmission lines and mounting brackets won’t match (it’ll leak or not cool at all).
H30s with modified transmissions: If you put an aftermarket transmission in your H30, the fluid flows differently—this original radiator can’t keep up (fluid overheats).
Get Ready: Turn off the engine and let it cool. Disconnect the battery (no electric shocks!). Jack up the car (use jack stands) so you can reach the radiator from underneath.
Drain the Fluid: Put a pan under the transmission lines, then disconnect the lines from the radiator’s inlets/outlets—catch all the fluid that drains out.
Take Out the Old Radiator: Unscrew the brackets that hold the radiator to the engine bay. Gently pull the old one out—don’t bend the tubes!
Put In the New One: Set the 28001005 radiator in place, tighten the brackets, and reconnect the transmission lines (use new gaskets to stop leaks).
Refill & Test: Add the right transmission fluid (check your H30’s owner’s manual). Start the engine, shift through all gears, and check for leaks. Make sure the fluid stays between 80–100°C when idling or driving.
Check for Leaks Every Month: Look for red or brown fluid spots under the car (that’s transmission fluid) or wetness around the radiator’s ports. If you see leaks, tighten the connections or replace the gaskets.
Clean the Fins Once a Year: Use a soft brush to wipe off leaves, bugs, or dirt from the fins—clogged fins can’t cool the fluid well. Don’t bend the fins—they’re thin and easy to break.
Change Transmission Fluid on Schedule: Old, dirty fluid clogs the radiator’s tubes. Follow Dongfeng’s advice—usually every 60,000–80,000 km.
Watch the Fluid Temperature: If your H30 shifts roughly or the transmission feels hot, get the radiator checked. A bad radiator might not cool the fluid enough.
