SA11-57-K70
Absorb crash force: The inflated airbag slows the passenger’s forward movement gradually, reducing the impact force on their head and chest by up to 70%—far more than a seatbelt alone can do.
Prevent hard contact: It blocks the passenger from hitting the dashboard, windshield, or glove box—preventing traumatic injuries like concussions, broken ribs, or facial lacerations.
Fits These: All Haima S7 variants (matches the dashboard design, airbag control unit specs, and passenger seat spacing—confirm with VIN).
Won’t Fit These:
Other Haima models: Like S5, M6, or F7—different dashboard sizes, crash sensor protocols, or airbag dimensions (won’t deploy correctly or fit in the dashboard).
Non-Haima vehicles: Even if the shape looks similar, their airbag control systems and dashboard layouts differ (no functional safety protection).
S7 with modified dashboards: Aftermarket custom dashboards often lack the airbag’s mounting space or deployment opening—original airbag can’t be installed (loses critical passenger protection).
Prep: Turn off the S7’s engine and disconnect the battery. Wait 15–20 minutes to drain residual power (avoids accidental inflation). Remove the dashboard’s upper right trim panel (above the glove box) using special tools (avoids damaging the dashboard).
Remove old airbag: Unplug the wiring connector from the airbag (press the safety lock to release it). Remove the bolts holding the old airbag’s mounting frame to the dashboard—lift it out carefully (don’t squeeze, drop, or puncture it).
Install new airbag: Align SA11-57-K70’s mounting frame with the dashboard’s bolt holes, then tighten the bolts to Haima’s exact torque specs. Reconnect the wiring connector (it fits only one way to prevent mistakes).
Test & Reassemble: Reattach the dashboard trim panel. Reconnect the battery and use a Haima diagnostic tool to reset the airbag control unit (clears old error codes). Check that the dashboard airbag light turns off (stays off = proper installation).
Never tamper with it: Don’t remove the dashboard trim, cut into the dashboard, or modify the airbag’s wiring (risk of accidental inflation or damage).
Check the airbag light: If the S7’s dashboard airbag light stays on after startup, the system has a fault (e.g., loose wiring, sensor issue)—take it to a Haima shop immediately (airbag may not trigger in a crash).
Avoid dashboard damage: Don’t hit or puncture the upper right dashboard (can damage the airbag’s inflator or fabric).
Replace after deployment: Once the airbag inflates in a crash, it’s one-time use—replace it with a new original unit (never reuse a deployed airbag).
