SA11-57-K0001-A
Absorb crash force: The inflated airbag slows your body’s forward movement gradually (instead of slamming into hard surfaces), reducing the force on your head and chest by up to 70%.
Keep you in place: It works with the S7’s seatbelt to keep your upper body from hitting the steering wheel, dashboard, or windshield—preventing traumatic injuries like concussions or broken ribs.
Fits These: All Haima S7 variants (matches steering wheel design, airbag control unit specs, and inflation requirements—confirm with VIN).
Won’t Fit These:
Other Haima models: Like S5, M6, or F7—different steering wheel sizes, control unit protocols, or airbag dimensions (won’t trigger or protect properly).
Non-Haima vehicles: Even if the shape looks similar, their crash sensor signals and mounting points differ (no functional safety protection).
S7 with modified steering wheels: Aftermarket steering wheels (e.g., racing-style) lack the airbag mounting space—original airbag can’t be installed (loses critical safety).
Prep: Disconnect the S7’s battery and wait 10–15 minutes (drains residual power to avoid accidental inflation). Remove the steering wheel’s decorative cover (uses special tools to avoid damaging the airbag).
Remove old airbag: Unplug the wiring connector (press the safety tab to release it). Remove the bolts holding the old airbag to the steering wheel frame—lift it out carefully (don’t drop or squeeze it).
Install new airbag: Align SA11-57-K0001-A with the steering wheel’s mounting holes, tighten the bolts to Haima’s exact torque specs. Plug the wiring connector back in (it clicks when secure). Reattach the decorative cover.
Test: Reconnect the battery and use a Haima diagnostic tool to reset the airbag control unit (clears old error codes). Test the system to ensure the airbag light turns off (stays off = proper installation).
Never tamper with it: Don’t try to open, repair, or modify the airbag (risk of accidental inflation or damage).
Check the airbag light: If the S7’s dashboard airbag light stays on (after startup), the system has a fault—take it to a Haima shop immediately (airbag may not trigger in a crash).
Avoid steering wheel damage: A cracked or bent steering wheel can damage the airbag’s mounting—get the steering wheel repaired if hit.
Replace after deployment: Once the airbag inflates in a crash, it’s one-time use—replace it with a new original unit (never reuse a deployed airbag).
