Surface strengthening treatment: The rod body undergoes shot peening treatment (shot diameter 0.8mm, strength 0.3mmA), with a residual surface compressive stress of -400MPa, effectively suppressing crack initiation.

Engine compatibility
1.5L GDI turbocharged model: Compatible with Dongfeng's independently developed DFMC15TD engine, the connecting rod1004100F0000 needs to withstand the 1.8-bar burst pressure brought by the turbocharging, so a higher-strength 42CrMo material variant is adopted.
1.8L GDI naturally aspirated model: Compatible with DFMC18 engine, the connecting rod material is standard 40MnBH, balancing economy and reliability.
