Keep the hood aligned & secure: It locks into place with the right-hand hinge to make sure the hood sits flush with the car’s front body (no gaps or unevenness). When closed, it helps the hood latch tightly—preventing it from popping open while driving.

Won’t Fit These:

Other Chery models: Like Tiggo7 (non-Pro), Tiggo8 Pro—different hood weights and body frame designs (hinge won’t line up).

Non-Chery cars: Even if it looks similar, the mounting holes and pivot angle will be way off (can’t install or work properly).

Tiggo7 Pro with modified hoods: Aftermarket carbon fiber or larger hoods have different weights—original hinge can’t support them.
